Wedding Peach

I started watching Wedding Peach because one of my girl friends told me it reminded her of Sailor Moon. 

In episode 1 we are introduced to the main characters of the anime. Momoko leads a normal young girl's life, living happily with her father, a professional photographer, attending school with her friends, Yuri and Hinagiku, and sharing dreams of love involving the star soccer team captain, Yanagiba. However, Momoko's life is turned upside down when a devil named Pluie appears and attempts to steal Momoko's ring, a memento from her decreased mother. Help arrives win the form of an angel named Limone; who gives Momoko a magical compact, the Saint Miroir, which grants Momoko the power to transform into the Love Angel, Wedding Peach.  

In episode 2 we are introduced to Reina – head of the devils - who is out to destroy all the love in the world. Momoko is running late for school and notices her two friends hiding behind trees. They both prepared lunch for star soccer player in hopes that he will fall in love with them. Love is evident throughout all three of their minds but will this love tear the three of them apart in the end? Momoko ends up getting hit in the head with a soccer ball and gets carried to the infirmary by Yousuke, the soccer goalie. They have somewhat of a love connection but are interrupted by the school nurse. Upon arrival to class they notice all the students out cold and the demon, Pluie steals the ruby ring. Momoko transforms into wedding peach again to save the day. Pluie notices the ring isn't the one they are after and wedding peach fights him with love. When is seems like she will be defeated Limone appears and tells her to transform into the fighting angel. She does and her dress turns into this really cool fighting outfit. The demons retreat and Momoko shows that the ring Pluie had wasn't the real ring. Very crafty Momoko, or should I say fighting angel. What is the saint something four?  

In episode 3 Momoko and her friends go to a wedding of one of the past soccer players hoping to see a performance from the present soccer team. Yousuke ends up hitting Momoko in the head with a soccer ball and she sees a side of him she didn't expect. (He likes you Momoko) Pluie shows up at the wedding hoping to destroy the love and happiness by infecting the brides heart with hatred. Yousuke tries to save Momoko but she ends up saving him, even though he doesn't know it. Momoko transforms into the love angel but it doesn't seem strong enough. She then transforms into the fighting angel and destroys the hatred in the brides heart. Pluie retreats with a verbal threat and all the brides/couples are back to normal. Love is present everywhere and Momoko couldn't be happier. She realizes that Yousuke doesn't remember anything and gets angry at his comment. Will they ever realize that they both have feelings for each other?
