Vampire Knight (manga)

Vampire Knight is finally over. In all I say it was a very interesting ending.

(spoiler alert)

It seemed very rushed for an ending. Kaname rips out his own heart to save Yuuki and the world. He then goes to sleep and tells Yuuki to move on with Zero. He does not die but just sleeps in an ice coffin. Yuuki moves on, so to speak, with Zero...a little. Yuuki ends up giving up her life to bring Kaname back but as a human, no longer a vampire. Zero dies of old age (that was weird) and Yuuki had kids. That part right there confused me. Not sure how I missed that and then are they Kaname's kids or Zero's. With how they look I would say Kaname but it's been so long so maybe they are Zero's.

Anyways it was a good ending but somewhat rushed. Kaname's human, Yuuki's dead, Zero's dying of old age, and Yuuki had kids. Kaname can finally live with light in his life, no longer in the night like a monster (vampire).

(end of spoiler alert)

If you have not read this manga then I suggest you do. I give it a 4.5 out of 5. Good story, great characters you can't help falling in love with, and romance with violence. Doesn't get any better than that.
It is also an Anime. It's not the entire manga in anime form, only the very beginning. Still hoping they finish the rest of the anime like the manga. The future will only be able to tell.
